We’ve been providing period-specific music for the heritage sector in the UK and throughout Europe since 2011. We’re first-call musicians for English Heritage and have also worked for The National Trust, Warwick Castle, The British Library, Greenwich Royal Museums and Cadw to name but a few.
Our music is fun and engaging while also being informative and accessible.
Heritage Events
We can offer historically-accurate live music on a wide range of period instruments from the following historical eras:
- Medieval
- Tudor and Jacobean
- English Civil War and 17th-century
- 18th-century
- Regency
- Victorian
- World War One
We can perform in historically-accurate costume or in modern dress. We have a period tent which we can bring to events and we can also offer arena PA/live sound services for ourselves, other performers and for the event as a whole.
Film, TV and radio
We’ve also provided period music for film and TV including BBC’s Poldark and Netflix’s Bridgerton. We were also recently guest contributors on BBC Radio 4’s Ian Hislop’s Oldest Jokes, being interviewed by Ian about 17th-century comic songs. We have a fully equipped home studio with up-to-date recording facilities.
